WELCOME

As an Ofsted-registered childminder, I received a 'Good' grade in my July 2023 inspection. I care for children from infancy to 11 years old, offering term-time, year-round, and school holiday care. My services include school pick-ups for Richard Bonington Primary.

I adhere to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, focusing on:

Personal, social, and emotional development
Physical development
Communication and language
Literacy/Mathematics
Understanding the world
Expressive arts and design

Daily activities are child-centred and include:

Visits to playgroups, farms, forest School, Libraries, Organised singing sessions and Parks.
Park outings
Structured and unstructured play at home

These activities aim to stimulate children and help them reach their full potential.

I use the 'Babydays' online system to record daily diaries, upload photos and videos, and document each child's progress, providing parents with accessible updates.

About Me

My name is Liz, I'm a Married Mum of Three Wonderful with Children with two sill living at home. I also have a little friendly dog.
I have been childminding for 15 years and live on a new housing estate off Calverton Road.
My ethos to childcare is to be flexible, fun, professional and approachable. This way children and parents working with me feel at ease and are happy.
I provide fun activities allowing children to develop in all areas of learning. I endorse positive discipline as a more effective way of setting boundaries for children and I am very consistent so the children know and feel secure in the boundaries that I set.
